Step 1: Understanding CrossFit 

What is CrossFit? CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and other elite and professional athletes worldwide.It is also an ideal program for everyday people who want to stay in shape and live longer, healthier lives - covering strength, stamina and speed in the course of a one hour class for those whom already feel strapped for time. Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

Step 2: Try It! 

Schedule a free One-Hour Consult & Intro Class with us! We will introduce you to our gym & the equipment you'll be learning to use. We'll discuss your goals and priorities, and what it is that we can provide you the most help with, be it workout planning, accountability, nutrition, or anything else. We'll get you warmed up, teach you a few movements, and put you through a solid CrossFit workout. 

From there, all new, unexperienced CrossFit athletes will be required to start in our CrossFit Elements Program, including 4 one-on-one personal training sessions covering the basic movements, nutrition, mobility and self maintenance, plus free unlimited classes for the remainder of the month! 

We are not the kind of gym you just walk into and figure it out as you go. We have designed our Elements program to ensure your success, knowing the best results start with a solid foundation. We care about you, and we are relentless in our efforts to help you succeed! We want you to perform movements properly. We want to make sure you are educated in nutrition and self maintenance. We want to provide you with as much accountability as possible to ensure your success.

Our Elements Program is designed to help you build the foundation you need to get it right from the beginning, ultimately saving you time and money. We will be with you step by step to help build these important habits needed to achieve your goals!

Step 3: Committing to Yourself

After you've been through an introductory workout, you'll have a good idea if this is what you are looking for. If it is, we are here to help you start what will be one of the most amazing journeys of your life. We understand that starting CrossFit can be scary. Just stepping into the gym on the first day is a huge success and it gets easier every time as you develop friendships in the gym and confidence in your abilities. Before you know it, you will be doing things you never could have imagined before!

Our gym is full of people just like you. They walked in on day one scared and unsure. Those people are the ones who will put their hand out to introduce themselves and help you through your journey, along with your knowledgeable coaches. WE ARE HERE FOR YOU. We are a community, not just a gym. Everyone knows each other and we encourage each other everyday to take on new challenges and to face obstacles.

We don't want just anyone as a member of CrossFit Purgatory. We want people who are ready to take the journey of health and wellness with us. We want people who are committed to their success. All we ask is that you commit to you. There is no special formula to being a "CrossFitter", and you don't need to get in shape first. Our workouts are for EVERY ability, strength, flexibility and endurance level.
