1/17 Workout of the Day and the weekend

This weekend was....incredible.

Things kicked off Friday night with a whacky Happy Hour WOD and Open House.  Big thanks to all who showed up and who drug their friends along for the fun.  We had a great time and the Paleo spread after was quite tasty!

Saturday, your CFP Tough Mudder Team took on 12.5 miles of rugged terrain and 29 obstacles to get an exclusive orange headband and rights to call themselves, "Tough Mudders."  This was an incredible journey and I want to send out a big cyber fist bump to all of my team mates who I never would have done this without (and I really mean that).  Matt H, Matt F, Jenna, Aly, Steph & Sol, Ali & Ike, Yancey and Kirstin.....you guys are amazing.  Thank you for talking me into doing this.  This was the longest I've run by double in over 12 years.  And, I am not sore one bit.  I think that's a huge testament to CrossFit.  I didn't train for this event in any way.  I didn't run any extra.  I didn't pack and eat Gu's or gels.  I approached it just like I do any other WOD.  It worked.  I didn't break any land records but that wasn't my goal.  My goal was to finish....injury free.  BIG kudos to all of the folks who completed the Tough Mudder this weekend!
